• The announcement says Duet can prepare and run payroll in Gusto with hours, bonuses and reimbursements filled in. It also says payments need your approval, but it does not describe the individual payroll steps.
• Payroll data is personal and sensitive. Share only what the task needs and keep the approval step with the person accountable for payroll.

Also: Payroll affects people’s pay and tax obligations. Compare the draft with your own records and have the responsible person approve it.

When it is not the right fit

• You need someone else to take responsibility for payroll accuracy.
• Your hours data is incomplete or still disputed.
